Hogan Event for Metaverse Fashion Week in Decentraland

Decentraland’s Metaverse Fashion Week is one of the most anticipated events in the virtual fashion world, and this year’s edition was no exception. Among the many exciting events that took place during the week, one that stood out was the Hogan Event, hosted by metaverse builder Exclusible. The event was an after-party that was headlined by French superstar DJ Bob Sinclar, and it featured a bespoke dance move generator application that allowed avatars to participate in a dance competition.

Exclusible, a metaverse developer that specializes in creating innovative Web 3.0 activations, had a major role to play in the event. Prior to the event, Exclusible invited its community on Twitter to earn 10,000 free limited edition Decentraland (DCL) wearables like hats, glasses, and T-shirts. These wearables were delivered to their DCL backpacks via airdrop, and they were meant to be worn at the party.

Hogan, the luxury Italian sneaker label, also set up a pop-up store in Decentraland during Metaverse Fashion Week. The store will remain in situ for six months, and it features NFTs that are redeemable for physical versions of its new ‘Untraditional’ sneaker, a re-edition of the very first model it ever made. The updated versions of the sneaker incorporate sustainable elements such as recycled rubber and canvas.

Exclusible played a major role in enabling the exchange of digital assets for physical ones. This was made possible by Boson Protocol enabling technology, which connects blockchain-based smart contracts to real-world assets without the need for a centralized intermediary. This approach allows purchasers to receive its digital equivalent in the form of a DCL wearable.

Hogan’s president Andrea Della Valle spoke about the brand’s Metaverse approach, which combines community-driven entertainment with retail. He emphasized the importance of innovation and exploring new opportunities in the retail industry. According to Della Valle, Hogan’s Metaverse roadmap will soon include a limited run of 500 NFT artworks on the Exclusible marketplace. These NFTs have been created in collaboration with five digital artists curated by the Braw Haus creative studio.

Della Valle believes that the Metaverse presents an opportunity to communicate in a different, more pervasive manner, which may have a positive impact on retail. He acknowledges that Web 3.0 has its challenges, but he believes that educating both Hogan and Exclusible’s fans is the key to overcoming these challenges.

Exclusible is making a name for itself with its innovative Web 3.0 activations in the luxury arena. In the last month alone, the company has partnered on NFT projects with Asprey Bugatti, Amedeo jewelry, and Louis Moinet timepieces. With its expertise in metaverse development and its commitment to innovation, Exclusible continues making waves in the virtual fashion world.
